Cell Phones for Seniors

Do you have an old cell phone and its charger just sitting around not being used? If so we want them. They can be dropped off at the Krapohl Senior Center where they will be made available to the seniors in our community for 911 calls. Federal Communications Commission requires 911 emergency calls to be connected at no charge from any wireless analog phone, whether it has been activated for service or not.

What a great way to recycle! What a great idea for seniors!

Seniors who receive these cell phones are advised to recharge their phones about once a week and remember, they can be used for 911 calls only.
